When you have a mixed group for parasailing, the order is usually not random or strict. Most crews will start by looking at a few things like who feels ready, who is most comfortable, and how balanced they need the flight to be for weight and setup on that run. If everyone is equally fine going up, it often just becomes a rotation based on who is already geared up first or who volunteered. What you will notice is that captains will read the group a bit. If someone looks nervous, they might actually go later so they have more time to watch another flight, while someone who is excited and ready might go earlier. Sometimes they also space out kids and adults a bit, depending on the group dynamic.
