Yes, they will skip or avoid certain launch spots if boat traffic gets too heavy that day. Captains are watching the water constantly, and if they see an area starting to get crowded with other parasail boats, rental boats, or heavy wake traffic, they will usually just move the launch plan somewhere quieter instead of trying to force it. The main reason is safety and stability during takeoff and landing. Parasailing works best when the boat has clean space to accelerate, and the chute can lift without dealing with unpredictable wakes crossing under you. If a spot is too congested, it can feel bouncy or tight, so most crews would rather slide a little farther down the coastline or adjust into a more open channel than deal with that.
