Orange Beach has an unusually large amount of protected navigable water immediately behind its Gulf beaches. That gives operators access to dolphins and other wildlife in bays, bayous, inlets, and the Intracoastal Waterway in addition to the Gulf itself, allowing several different styles of wildlife cruises to operate.
