It can, because Orange Beach adds tides, currents, commercial and recreational boat traffic, navigation markers, no-wake areas, shallow water and Perdido Pass to the equation. Prior boating experience is extremely helpful, but don't skip the local orientation because you know how to operate a pontoon on a quiet inland lake.
