Only if the rental company specifically allows fishing from its boats. Some Orange Beach rental operators prohibit fishing because hooks, bait, fish and tackle can damage upholstery and flooring, while others rent boats that are appropriate for casual fishing. If fishing is allowed, you'll also need to follow Alabama saltwater fishing-license requirements and current regulations. If catching fish is the main purpose of your day rather than an occasional activity, a fishing-specific rental or charter is the better choice.
