It depends a lot on which dock you rent from, because jet ski rentals are not all sitting right beside Crab Island. Some places are close enough that once you are checked out and moving, you might be over that way in around 8min to 15min. Other spots are farther back in the harbor or tucked into a marina, so you may have a longer no wake ride before you get to the open water. The main thing I would ask before booking is whether your rental time starts at the dock and how long they usually tell guests it takes to reach the Crab Island area from their location. Also, just keep in mind that Jet Skis are not really made for hanging out at Crab Island the way a pontoon is.
