Not necessarily. A jet ski is better for visiting Crab Island than spending an entire day there. Jet skis provide little shade, storage, or lounging space, so they work best for riders who want to combine Crab Island with exploring Destin's surrounding waterways. Groups primarily interested in several hours of swimming and relaxing at the sandbar are usually better served by a pontoon or captained boat.
