Most jet ski companies will keep an eye on the weather all day, but they usually do not cancel early unless it is obvious the weather is going to be bad or there is a larger storm system moving through. Around here, the forecast can look rough in the morning and then clear up, or it can look fine and then a pop up storm rolls in during the afternoon, so a lot of companies wait until closer to the rental time before making the final call. Lightning is the big one. If there is lightning nearby, they are not going to send people out just because everyone is already checked in. Rough water, strong wind, heavy rain, or poor visibility can also cause delays or reschedules, even if it is not storming hard where you are standing. I would call before heading over if the sky looks questionable, but do not assume your rental is canceled unless they tell you.
