Crab Island's water color changes with tides, weather, recent rainfall, wind, and other natural conditions. Photos showing extremely clear emerald water are real, but those conditions do not occur identically every day. An overcast sky or less favorable tide can make the water look noticeably different without anything being wrong with the tour.
