The easiest activity is a short dolphin cruise from Destin Harbor. A 1.5hr to 2hr cruise around HarborWalk Village, the Destin Bridge, and Choctawhatchee Bay has seating, shade on many boats, bathrooms on larger vessels, and a clear start and finish time. Kids get the fun of looking for dolphins and being on the water, while adults are not managing beach gear, driving a pontoon, or keeping everyone entertained for 4hrs. Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park is another option because families move at their own pace and take breaks between animal presentations.
