A private dolphin tour is worth the extra cost when your group wants the boat to itself, more room to spread out, and a slower pace than a shared cruise. Around Orange Beach, private trips near Caribe Marina, Terry Cove, and Perdido Pass work well for families with toddlers, grandparents, birthdays, or groups of 6 who want photo ops and fewer people around. A regular dolphin cruise is the better value when everyone is fine sharing the boat and sticking with the set 1.5hr route.
