The Gulf is definitely the better experience. The Bay can be great too, but you're less likely to see the emerald green water, beaches and coastline. Although you can see dolphins in the Bay, there is a better chance you'll see more wildlife in the Gulf including stingrays, sharks, sea turtles and more.
