The closest tours are the ones departing from St. Pete Beach, Pass a Grille, Tierra Verde, and the Boca Ciega Bay marinas. Shell Key trips and smaller private boat tours leave from the Tierra Verde side, which is 10 to 20min from many St. Pete Beach hotels, while John’s Pass cruises are farther north and take closer to 20 to 30min with beach traffic.
