Airboat tours do not run through active thunderstorms when lightning or other severe conditions make the swamp unsafe. Airboat Adventures cancels tours when lightning and thunder are present, while Ragin Cajun Airboat Tours will delay a departure or reschedule when real time hazards develop. Light rain alone does not automatically stop the ride, so the deciding factor is the thunderstorm activity rather than wet weather by itself.
