No, you cannot drive a jet ski at 17 even though someone 18 years old or older signs the rental agreement. It's state law in Florida that drivers must be 18 years old and up to drive the jet ski. However, you can still ride on the jet ski. Only private jet skis allow drivers under the age of 18 that obtain a Florida Boaters Operators Certificate.
