Stingrays are more common in the shallow water around Shell Island from May through October, when the Gulf is warmer. You can see them resting over sandy areas near shore. On trips like the Adventure Tour aboard the Privateer Catamaran, there are sightings nearly every day depend on the water conditions that day.
