If you book a private chartered pontoon and need to leave quickly, the captain will return to the Harbor as quickly as possible. In case of an emergency, they will alert the Coast Guard or flag down another vessel for immediate assistance. For public tours, the captain will contact emergency services such as Destin Fire and Rescue or the Coast Guard. If your situation is non-emergency, the captain will do their best to arrange a shuttle or alternate transportation to bring you back to the harbor promptly and safely. Your safety and comfort are always a top priority.
