After Destrehan Plantation, you have a couple of nearby options before heading back into New Orleans. Cajun Pride Swamp Tours in LaPlace is a good choice if you want to get out on the water, and Zip NOLA is nearby if you want something a little more active. Both are close enough to pair with a plantation visit and still make a full day out of the area.
