Yes, if you get there a little early, Captain Leonard Destin Park is right there on Calhoun Avenue near Wet n Wild Watersports. It’s a nice spot to hang out for a bit, with a boardwalk, playground, splash pad, bathrooms, and a small beach area. Since the park is only a short distance away, you’ll still be close when it’s time to head over for check in.
