Yes, if you still have some time after Adventures of Jean Lafitte, there are a couple of places nearby that fit in nicely. The Wetland Trace Nature Boardwalk is close by and takes you through a 41 acre cypress swamp, and the Barataria Museum is another good stop if you want to learn more about the area, local fishing communities, and Jean Lafitte history before heading back toward New Orleans.
