Could NOT have been better.  Excellent experience.  Excellent guide (asked us to call him Pickles).  Beautiful scenery.  Great weather.  Fantastic location.  Great free pictures provided (102 shots).  Just the right amount of strenuous activity (thanks to Pickles tied up to us helping us get across against the wind).  Thankfully ran tour with just the two of us

Great kayaking tour for people of all levels. We were able to view some animals, ducks and black swans, and learn a little about the native trees and glaciers. I highly recommend for those people wanting a little exercise and to venture out into nature.

A lovely experience for family, but be prepared to do most of the work as the kids get tired! 
Interesting and fun. Our guide Max was knowledgable, extremely patient with our vivacious children and their 18493639 questions and just all round great guide.

Great fun, light paddling, informative tour guides, beautiful lake. Short drive to lake, good equipment.

Relaxing paddle

We had a great time with guides Pickles and Farrah.  Both were knowledgeable of area, especially wildlife.  Good instructions on safety procedures which led to a great paddle.  It’s a challenging but do able paddle for all levels.  Highly recommend!

Thank you for your review! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed kayaking and the wildlife with our team. From the Lake on a clear day you can see quite a few different Glaciers including the top neve area of the Franz Josef Glacier - we can also see the tops of Mt. Cook and Mt. Tasman.  Regardless of what the view of the mountains was we don't sell our tours as glacier views as we can't control what the clouds do on the day, we always say the highlight of our tours is paddling into the rainforest and exploring that area as it's so unique to our region.

It was a nice lake kayaking activity,  but we could not see the glacier from where we were on the lake.. The Staff were friendly, nice, and informative as well as passionate about the local wildlife and the protection plan to save the Kiwi.  It was a rare good weather day.

Great experience.  We had a slight drizzle initially but then that cleared.  The kayaks were great and the visit to the forest was wonderful.  Great guide.
