    Dolphin Watching in Destin

I enjoyed the boat ride as well as the crew. The trip was very enjoyable. I only wish that the Dolphins were more active. I did see dolphins but only their bodies and not their faces. I would book through Tripshock again!

    Great Experience!

We used TripShock to purchase tickets for a Dolphin Cruise with Olin Marler Charters in Destin, FL. The Dolphin Cruise was hands-down the highlight of our trip, and an event that gave us memories to talk about for years to come. Our captain on the Hannah Marie was knowledgable, fun, and even cracked a few jokes. He knew the dolphin areas well, as well as their behaviors, so we were able to see about 40 dolphins on our cruise, even some jumping in the trailwater of the boat as we cruised along (very cool!!). First Mate fed the seagulls as we raced thru the water. Would highly recommend using Olin Marler Charters to anyone making a trip to Destin. We've been on other charters before and they paled in comparison. Pricing for Olin Marler was actually cheaper than previous charters, too. Can't wait till next Spring Break! We'll definitely be visiting with the crew of the Hannah Marie again.

    Destin History & Dolphin Cruise

We took the first cruise of the day, and the weather was beautiful. Our crew was very professional and considerate, and the vessel was clean and comfortable. It was a leisurely trip around the Destin area with great historical information, restaurant reviews, and photo opportunities. We found several dolphin pods, including some with calves. The crew even went so far as to steer the boat close to the pods so we could see them up close and photograph them. It was the highlight of our vacation.

    Dolphin cruise

We loved this experience. Our daughters were very excited to see the dolphins the doves and pelicans. The only thing is that we would like to be closer to the dolphins to see them better. I recommend this experience.

    It was amazing!

Great time! We saw the dolphins a lot. They swam up next to the boat. I'm so glad my 6yr old got to to experience it.

The trip was ok. Unfortunately the weather (very windy and cold) wasn't great, preventing us from actually getting out on the Gulf. However, the captain did his best to locate some dolphins, and the kids enjoyed seeing them. A warm, sunny, and calm day would've made a big difference.

Dolphin Watch and Destin History Cruise

While the weather was not the best, cool and overcast, the trip was wonderful. We saw pods of dolphins and some even swam next to the boat and under it. Almost the entire time we were on the tour we saw dolphins. They also provide educational information on the dolphins and the waterway. The crew is great! Friendly, informative and professional. Thank you for a great trip!

Party boat more than dolphin watching

Going dolphin and whale watching in Hawaii was one of the best times of my life, so I will fully admit this could never compare. But if you want to get up close to dolphins, and maybe even learn a thing or two, this is NOT the cruise for you. Yes, we saw dolphins (not that close), and yes, they told us maybe 3 lame and commonly known facts about them. But the next day we saw the dolphins just as closely from the beach. (Go looking for them in the morning when it's quiet.) We did the sunset cruise. I was annoyed by the music, and most people seemed to care more about have a drink and a boat ride than seeing dolphins. The size of the boat means that it just can't get to the dolphins that quickly and you're probably not going to see them up close. (In Hawaii, I was on a small boat where they came right up to it, turned on their sides, and looked at you.) The next day I talked to someone else who had gone with a different company that sounded a bit more kid-friendly. Still, given the size of all of those boats, they seem more interested in packing the most people on as possible than actually giving you a really good dolphin watching experience. Try a couple of mornings on the beach before you spring for this. And then if you want to, pick a different company.
