Head directly to the Tropical Winds Charter Boat located at Walker Key. Please confirm the departure time at least 24 hours prior to arrival.Departure Details Group fishing charters are available on selected days based on availability. Departure times will vary, but morning trips will typically depart at 8am. Please call at least 24 hours in advance to confirm departure times. Duration: 6 hours Parking Public Parking at Walker Key, 4481 Walker Key Blvd Orange Beach, AL 36561 Inclusions ● Bait & Tackle ● Fishing License Exclusions ● Gratuities (15-20%) ● Coolers & Ice Restrictions ● This trip is not recommended for children under 4 and pregnant women. ● Customer must be at least 18 years of age to fish without parental consent. ● Trips must receive at least 10 participants to depart. if not, the trip will be rescheduled or the customers will be refunded. Additional Information ● The Tropical Winds is a 65 foot walk around vessel with bathrooms and an air conditioned cabin. ● Customer is recommended to bring a wash rag, hat, sun glasses, suntan lotion, hand sanitizer, small cooler with food and drinks, and a camera. ● The crew will fillet and bag any fish that the customer catches on the trip. Please tip the crew appropriately for all the hard work they do on the trip. ● This trip will only accommodate 20 max ● No GPS devices allowed on the boat. Tropical Winds personnel reserve the right to confiscate these items. ● You will travel approximately 10-20 miles out to sea. ● The boat will sometimes experience movement and those who are prone to motion sickness are asked to take dramamine or bonine for precaution. ● Handicap services are available, please call us when the reservation is booked for proper assistance ● If the weather is unfavorable for fishing, the trip will be rescheduled or refunded. If the trip is cut short due to weather conditions, the trip will be prorated. Cancellation Policy If the trip is confirmed with 10 or more passengers and the customer cancels, the customer will be required to pay the full amount of the trip. If the captain declares that the trip be cancelled (weather, rough seas etc..), we will attempt to reschedule to the most convenient day possible. If the trip cannot be rescheduled, the full amount of the trip will be refunded to the customer. All no shows on the day of the trip will not be refunded. No refunds once the customer boards the boat. Any changes to the reservation are at the discretion of the charter company and additional charges may apply. Ready to book? Here is what you do... We had a very productive fishing experience on the Tropical Winds. Despite a long trip to the fishing grounds we got into the Vermillion and Mackerell really well. The crew was fantastic and everyone enjoyed a fish feast after our outing.

The crew was extremely accommodating and knew their business well. Owner Chris was exceptionally friendly and put us onto the red snappers and we began catching fish immediately after we stopped. Thank you and thank them again for us.

Booked the Orange Beach Deep Sea Fishing excursion for July 4th. My family had the best time, the crew on Tropical Winds was just amazing!!!!!! They really cared about us catching the most fish and took us to some of the best spots there were for catching the biggest fish I have ever seen! We all had the opportunity to "Reel in the Big Ones!!" You just don't get that on the crowded boats! I did a lot of research on these fishing excursions and found this... Capt. Chris was very honest with me about everything! He told me there wouldn't be any more that 20 people on the boat, even though it is able to hold 50! He kept his word and I really appreciate that. Booking thru TripShock was easy and convient. The reps. there were very helpful and any questions I had were answered! The next time I plan a trip, I will check with TripShock first, to see what they have to offer!! The next time I go to Orange Beach, I will be going back out on Tropical Winds!!! Thanks so much for the memories!!!!

We all had a wonderful time on the Tropical Winds, and have talked about the experience a lot to everyone since we have been home. We love showing the pictures to people here in St. Louis of all the big red snapper we caught! The boat was well kept and so clean - everything in its place! We had some rough seas that day we went out, but you were still able to find some good fishing spots. We can't wait to get a chance to cook them up and see how good our catch tastes!
You were very helpful and courteous and made us feel comfortable on your boat. I know John had a great time fighting to get some of the fish into the boat, and he will remember the experience well. We hope to make it back for another trip in the future!
We will recommend your trip to our friends that come down to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area for a fun fishing experience.

We looked all over Orange Beach trying to find a charter that would accommodate our small party, but we could only find boats that wanted $1,000+ for a private trip. We found TripShock through the internet and decided to check it out because the price was very reasonable and 6 hours was just enough. We got to the dock and greeted by Chris, the manager of the charter. The boat was clean and the equipment was well taken care of. It took us about 90 minutes to get to our first spot, and man it was a good one. We caught our snapper limit within the first hour and unfortunately had to throw a few beauties to the dolphins. We had a wonderful time and I can thank TripShock and the crew of the Tropical Winds enough. We will be back soon!

While the weather was bad, at no fault of the captain or crew, I wasted $240.00 on this trip. Instead of the 20 mile trip we took the 12 mile trip instead to do more fishing due to the ocean being so rough. We fished approximately 45 minutes out of the entire 6 hour trip. I paid for a boat ride for me and my son. When we returned to the docks, other boats had plenty of fish. While talking with people from other boats, they bragged on their captains putting them on good spots even in the bad weather. I do fish bass tournaments and consider myself somewhat knowledgeable about salt water fishing. My thoughts are we got taken on this deal. And I'm not the only one out of the 14 on this trip that felt this way. I will come again, but not through this company.

We had a great trip on the Tropical Winds. The highlight of our trip was catching a monster red snapper that was bigger than my son! The crew was very attentive, the boat was spotless, and we look forward to our next trip.
