If you plan on staying overnight or for a few days, you can even rent out one of their historic cabins located just 200 yards from the beach. There’s so much to do at the park such as nature trails, heading to the beautiful beach, and shopping at the gift shops. The fishing pier offers the best surf fishing for king mackerel, flounder, whiting, and more. The picnic shelters are perfect for any type of social gathering whether it’s a reunion, birthday party, or another type of celebration.
