Departure Details: Gilligan's Watersports is located at 530 Harbor Boulevard E, Destin, FL 32541. Please arrive at least 30 minutes early with a valid ID and credit card for incidentals. Any issues, please contact your provider, Gilligan's Watersports Parasailing, Pontoon Boats &amp; Waverunner Rentals, at 850-650-9000.
Boater’s License: A Temporary Florida Boater’s License is recommended and may be required for your activity! All drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, MUST obtain a license. Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, may operate a boat or personal watercraft without a Florida Boater License, so long as they have a valid driver’s license. However, in the interest of safety, we recommend that all drivers take the test and familiarize themselves with important boat safety rules. Great experience with this boat rental.  We had rented a pontoon on years past at PCB and this boat was much newer and nicer.  Check in was fast and on time.  The crew was great getting us out and taking the boat back in.  Highly recommend!

Great folks and great experience. If you aren’t familiar with boating, the double decker is a bit harder to drive if it’s windy I will say. Experienced drivers won’t have an issue but will notice the difference.

Great double decker slide pontoon at Crab Island

We rented a 2 tier pontoon with double slides and a giant lily pad. The lily pad was a great hit with the little guys and the slide was fun for the big boys! One advice I have is that if you are going to use the slide, make sure you anchor the boat in an area with a deeper body of water. Otherwise everything was fantastic.

The location was a little tricky to find w Google, but Rod texted perfect instructions and we found him no problem.

Check in process was very slow and the lady in the trailer was not as pleasant or as helpful as she could have been.   The guys by the dock were great and very pleasant and guy on a golf cart was do extremely nice and took our items and one of our friends who had trouble walking down to the dock on the golf cart. We had beautiful weather and Olivia was a great Captain. We first saw the dolphins, but that was only about 10 minutes. Then we went to crab island. The tour information said

We only had a frisbee and a football. The water is still really cold and the lily pad or SUP would have been nice. I asked about them, but Olivia didn't volunteer anything. Then we went to the bay and that was it. Great trip, but not as much fun as I expected and we didn't really get to see the area even though we had plenty of time.

Captain John was awesome! We went on a little cruise to see the harbor then went to Crab Island and had a wonderful time. Then we went down into the bay for another little cruise. We had never been to Crab Island in the almost 20 years we have been going to Destin and now we want to go every time!

It was a little chilly the day we went but the grandkids got to experience something different, dunes and a boat ride.  Each one tried the slides., but grandma went first!  The trip ended with a heavy downpour but we were all laughing.
