Restrictions
- Renters are responsible for the cost of all damages to the watercraft (including parts and labor, up to the cost of the entire watercraft in the event it is totaled) and lost equipment while it is in their possession. Power Up Watersports reserves the right to charge the renter for any lost revenue as an outcome of damage to the watercraft.
- Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, can operate a pontoon boat with a valid driver's license. Those born on or after January 1, 1988, can operate a pontoon boat but are required to take a Florida Boaters test. A link will be sent to you after check-out via text message and email to take prior to arrival. The test costs $9.99 but is subject to change.
- For the safety of customers, equipment, and other people and vessels on the water, vendor reserves the right to refuse service to anyone under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, behaving inappropriately, or behaving in a manner deemed to be unsafe.
- A $200 pre-authorization is required at the start of the booking. The deposit will be a hold on your credit or debit card presented at check-in. The deposit will be returned once an inspection is completed upon the return of the watercraft.
- Person signing the contract must be 18, have a valid picture ID, & a VALID credit card for incidentals.
- Pontoon boats MUST be returned at the rental location no later than 6pm regardless of the time of departure.
- Pontoon boats are prohibited from entering the Gulf of Mexico.
- It is best to arrive at least 1 hour early for instruction.
- Pontoon boats can hold a maximum of 12 people or 1700 lbs.
- Boats cannot be used as a shuttle.
Additional information
- Boats have compartments to hold small valuables such as wallets, watches and jewelry. However, it is best to leave all these items back home or in your vehicle.
- If the weather is deemed by vendor as unfavorable for this activity and the activity is called off, vendor will attempt to reschedule for another time or day. If customer needs cannot be met, vendor will refund the purchase amount.
- If there is rain while you are on the boat and you are called back to dock early, the purchase price will be prorated accordingly.
- Dogs are permitted. Damage deposit collected on-site is considered a pet deposit as well.
- Free parking is available on-site. It costs $10.00 for the months of May-August.
- Pontoons have Yamaha 90hp engines.
Reservation Requirements

The staff was very friendly, boat was clean and ready when we arrived. Upon returning, staff was waiting and very helpful in docking and helped in getting our gear to the car.
On the bad side, restrooms at the office were disgusting and unsanitary.
