Parking: Free parking is available on-site. Look for parking signs and park next to the metal boat launch.
Departure Details: Experience departs from Fairview State Park located at 119 Fairview Drive, Madisonville, LA 70447. Tell the gate attendant you are here for Captain Mike for free entry. Follow the road to the end of the 2nd group of campers, take the loop to the gravel parking lot, and park next to the metal boat launch. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. The boat departs on time. For any issues, please contact your provider, Louisiana Tours and Adventures, at 985-789-9602. 
Gratuities: Although not required, it is appreciated and encouraged to tip the tour guide.

nice relaxing view. Good food wasnt pleased that no drinks came with the meal.

Reservations were easy. Getting tickets on the day was fast. Boring was efficient. We were greater nicely and immediately taken to our table. The bartender was pleasant. The red wine that I had was good. The white wine that my wife had was okay. The live music was very good. The cruising was smooth.

First trip but not our last.

I didnt like being rescheduled after reserving putting us outside in the rain and cold w children but all in all it was a good experience and we had a blast and tripshock made reservations so easy!

Trip was great. The narrator was really good. Very interesting and well spoken.  Added humor too which was great.  Food was very good, better than some of the restaurants we tried.  We spent the time inside since it was rainy outside. Everyone working on the boat was very friendly too.  Great experience.

Tour was well coordinated plenty of time at oak alley didn’t feel rushed could enjoy the property before heading to the swamp. Swamp tour was a fun afternoon with Reggie as our captain.

We were a group of 8, and we all give this tour 5 stars.  We were glad that we were on the slow boat in the swamp, because the airboat scares the alligators and birds away.

Oak Alley Plantation is beautiful, especially the grounds and gorgeous trees!

Both locations provided a lot of historical information. The time alotted at both was more than enough to take in the sights and surroundings.

The boat ride was very relaxing. The food was great. The bartender down stairs was trying to mislead us and cost us more money.

Well, for starters.. it’s a beautiful idea for us tourists folks. The food and the southern hospitality was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! The staff wore masks. They were kind and sweet. The food was bomb. I actually came for the food. The view was beautiful. STORY TIME: We came to NOLA for my baby sisters 21st birthday. As we were coming back from the stop that we had made, my sisters RED champion bucket hat flew off her head. We were sitting on the very top floor all the way in the back. As it flew off, we tried to catch it but unfortunately it flew over board. As we run to go see where the hat went. It had found its way on the ledge of the back of the boat, while in motion the hat was just chilling. We prayed and hoped that it wouldn’t fall off. We get back to the dock or the port where we got on at, and Thank God the hat was still there. I asked The host (the guy over the intercom) to ask if anyone could please get my sisters hat. My sister got a chance to speak with the captain, who was very sweet and adamant about getting her hat. A few minutes later before we were able to safely get off the boat, there was a guy, an older gentleman, that saved the day. We forgot to get his name. But if you’re seeing this.. THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH for saving my sisters 21st birthday!!!!!  Everyone clapped and cheered as she had the red at in her hand. Thank you for everyone that was involved. The awesome people that were there helping us and making sure that the hat stayed right where it was supposed to be. Everyone!!! AWESOME 5 STARS !!!!!
