Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure time to complete the paperwork and give you a boat check ride/safety briefing. Arrive 1 hour before departure time if you plan to take the test on-site. For any issues, please contact your provider, Funday Watersports, at 850-699-4500.
Boater’s License: A Temporary Florida Boater’s License is recommended and may be required for your activity! All drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, MUST obtain a license. Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, may operate a boat or personal watercraft without a Florida Boater License, so long as they have a valid driver’s license. However, in the interest of safety, we recommend that all drivers take the test and familiarize themselves with important boat safety rules. It will get you to crab island and back,  50 ho motor is too slow. This cuts into your time you spend at crab island. Other than that, everything was great.

Spring Break

Had my sister and bro in law for their 50th bday!  Wonderful trip! Boat was clean, and got us right over to crab island! Saw not one, but two pods of dolphin on the way over! Cheaper than going 5 miles into Destin and renting! Added an extra hour to our trip from saving going into Destin!  Had an absolute blast!!!

Gilligan's watersports will literally be the only place I ever rent from again. Staff was absolutely awesome. Boat was brand new and the price was unbeatable. 6 people for cruising tikis is $80 a person ($400 total, 3 hrs) .. Gilligan's was $471 for 4 hrs and ur own pontoon. No question best decision we made. Gilligan's, you guys are the best. THANK YOU GUYS for the best day ever

Enjoyable day

Overall it was a good time.  We took the time to fill the waivers out online thinking it would save time and when we got there we had to fill them out again.  They gave us a different pontoon then what we booked and come up find out there was another Wilson with a reservation so I believe we were given their pontoon and they got ours.  Also we didn't rent a Lilly pad but the boat they gave us had one on it and the kids got super excited.  They then told us they had us under the wrong reservation and we had to pay for the pad.  Well at that point we didn't have much choice so we paid extra for it.  Just wish they would've had our reservations right, one was Steven and the other was Travis.  They didn't check my voucher which probably would've stopped the confusion.  Oh well.... It is what it is and we had a good time but we probably won't do it again.

Check in process was very slow and the lady in the trailer was not as pleasant or as helpful as she could have been.   The guys by the dock were great and very pleasant and guy on a golf cart was do extremely nice and took our items and one of our friends who had trouble walking down to the dock on the golf cart.
