Oh man, it was so wide open. No one out there. Really pretty and peaceful. Nothing like floating the river on a perfect day. We stopped at 2 of the beaches just to chill out for a second and dry off. Really the perfect idea for a couple or a group of friends. A gem
No experience, no problem!

We upgraded to kayaks when we got there. Had an amazing time! We had never been kayaking before and it was really easy and enjoyable.

If you're looking for a way to spend half the day... It took about 3½ - 4 hrs to do the tubing trip. This was a blast for the whole family. We took a 3 & 5 year old all the way up to a 70 year old. Everyone had fun! We will definitely be doing it again.
River trip

This was the worst experience of my life. We went on the trip after it rained and we were told the river was flowing fast but we would be fine. Life jackets were not required but we got them for the smaller kids. Truthfully everyone should have been required to wear a life jacket. The river was moving so fast we were not able to stop at the sand bars because we couldn't stop. We saw no one on this trip (other people, guides), we were the only ones on the river. If I could have called someone to come get us I would have. The river float took 4 hours, which was 3 hours and 55 minutes too long. Had anyone got hurt no one would have known, there were no signs stating (x) miles left and no guide. We were given tubes and stated we would be picked up at the end, when we see the bridge go towards the right to make sure we stop and if we weren't able to go towards the right they would have to swim to come get us. We were also told the river was 3-5 feet deep, probably 75% my 6'2" son could not touch the bottom. I wanted to call someone to come get us, but couldn't. At one time one of my family members got stuck in some brush and none of us could stop to help her, she was on her own for 30 minutes. The absolute worst experience of my life. There were 13 of us who did this trip, we should have been told the river was too fast and too high and not allowed to float the river.
