Great experience! Can't wait to do it again!

Great! Checking-in was easy breezy with an attendant. James, our driver, was awesome and very informative and funny by cracking jokes. I would recommend this tour for Anyone who can easily step up and down from a tall carriage. There was so much information James told us that was fascinating and will stick with me the next time I go to NOLA. My favorite part was listening to him describe the process of funerals at St. Louis Cemetery #1. It was so fascinating! I am one who typically doesn’t like going on carriage rides because I feel bad for the horses/mules and don’t want to subject them to more work. However, with Royal Carriages, you can see how well these mules are taken care of from the start. They get water breaks and work with the same employee and have a relationship with him/her.

Favorite FQ activity!

This was by far my favorite activity of the day. The carriage ride had a nice breeze as we went through several parts of the town. The guide/driver was excellent. He answered all of our questions and we learned more from him than we did on the walking tour. He was funny and kept you interested the entire time. He even gave us a history on the horses and how well taken care of they are. I’ve done this tour several times and each time I learn something new! It’s a must when visiting New Orleans.

Great first thing to do as it gives you an overview of the area for further exploration of the areas you like. Very well narrated with interesting history and facts about The Big Easy!
