    Amazing storms and fishing!!!

The weather was not what most would call desirable, but we had an amazing time! From the Captain to the deck hands, the crew was confident, accommodating and skilled. We watched incredible storms blowing through, fished in downpours and had the time of our lives. Even with catching 9 Trigger that were out of season and had to be tossed back, we came out with a great catch. We will definitely be back for another round with this crew. My daughter is a realtor in Santa Rosa Beach and my son-in-law, who came along with me, is in property management and both will be recommending this boat to their clients for fishing!!!! Thank you for a great day and experience and we will think of you when we eat our fillets this weekend!!!

Eric, we are so glad you enjoyed it! We warn customers that we don't always fish in calm conditions but honestly sometimes the best fishing is in the RAIN! The fish don't know it's raining! We hope you'll come back and fish with us in October for the Destin Fishing Rodeo!

    Go Fishing!

We had a great experience fishing with the Olin Marler service on the Gulf Stream. Our Crew Peter and John were excellent and very helpful throughout the trip. Always ready to assist with reels, fish, bait and even a large fish that was to big for my wife to reel in alone. I have fished several Party Boats in my life and this was one of the best. It so happened that we caught our limits of Mingo Snapper which always makes it more fun! Thanks for the memories!

So glad to hear that! Our charter boat captains are a stickler for time so we're sorry some of your group missed the boat. We hope you all will come back soon and try us again on a sunnier day!

Our trip was AWESOME! The only thing I think we wish we would have had more time to fish ... having to move around so much took a little time away from the fun. But we understood why we were moving since the dolphins kept snagging our fish we were catching. :( It happens!! So we completely understood! Loved that even when it started pouring down rain we were able to continue to fish! This made the experience even more amazing!! All about nature!! :) Thank you all for the fantastic trip!!

Barbara, So glad you all enjoyed it! A typical fishing trip is normally half travel time and half fishing. So on a 6hr trip you'll typically get 3 hours of fishing and 3 hours of traveling. Our permits state we much be 9 miles or more out, so sometimes it takes time to get that far and it definitely doesn't help when the dolphins are stealing our customer's fish! We live in a gorgeous place and we love to share that part of nature with all our customers. Please come back soon! We would love to see you and your family on an 8hr trip next time!

    Great Crew

We had a great time on this ship. The deck hands were amazing. we really never got to speak or meet with the captain. Not the best of fishing think the captain could have got better locations for fishing. We would recommend this trip just because the Deck crew was amazing.

We are so glad to hear you had a great time! There is only so many locations that a 4hr trip can go to before we have to bring the boat back to shore so we're sorry to didn't fish as well as you would like. The rule of thumb for most fishing trips is that half the trip is travel time and half the trip is fishing time. We hope you'll try us again in the future for a longer trip! Thank you for coming!

    Waters didn't cooperate--still had a great experience

We went on a period of time when the waters were a little more rough than ideal, 3-4 foot swells, there were fish caught, but not as many as they we hoped or that they could see on the screen of the finder-all things out their control! Boat was clean, staff were knowledgeable, friendly and loved what they did making the experience great! Take dramamine the night before and day you go out (a tip I heard AFTER our trip) especially if already have tendency to get motion sickness! I'd go again!! Great time!

Kristin thanks for coming! We don't always fish in calm conditions (the fish don't know it's raining!) so we always suggest taking dramamine before the trip if you think you'll be sick. Being sick when you're trying to fish STINKS! We are so glad to hear you caught some fish and hope you'll come back soon! The fishing Rodeo is in October!
