Parking: Free parking is available on-site. However, parking is very tight so please ride together to reduce the number of cars and make parking easier for you. 
Departure Details: Your double-decker pontoon rental will depart from “Island Watersports” located at 1318 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, Okaloosa Island, FL 32548. As a reminder, the half-day reservations are from 9:00 am-1:00 pm &amp; 1:30 pm-5:30 pm. The full-day reservations are from 9:30 am-5:30 pm. You will not be able to make up time if you are late for your rental, so please confirm your scheduled departure time and arrive at least 30-45 minutes early for registration and boat orientation. For any issues, please contact your provider, Double Fun Pontoon, at 850-316-4224.
Boater’s License: A Temporary Florida Boater’s License is recommended and may be required for your activity! All drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, MUST obtain a license. Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, may operate a boat or personal watercraft without a Florida Boater License, so long as they have a valid driver’s license. However, in the interest of safety, we recommend that all drivers take the test and familiarize themselves with important boat safety rules. You may take the test and obtain your license <a href="https://www.tripshock.com/boaterstest">here</a>. 
Reminders: The company providing your pontoon is named “Double Fun Pontoon Rentals,” and rents double-decker pontoons across 6 locations along the Gulf Coast. As mentioned above, the location that you are renting your pontoon from and should arrive on the day of your reservation is called “Island Watersports” located at 1318 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, Okaloosa Island, FL 32548.
IMPORTANT: To be in compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations and to maximize safety on the vessel, we have structured our outings as a Bareboat Charter versus a Boat Rental. As such, it is necessary to identify 3 leaders in your party to be in charge. The positions are: A. Charter Representative (person in charge) B. the Skipper (person driving the boat) and C. Safety Manager (paid crew member who cannot contribute to the charter). We require that all three charter leaders watch our video before departing. Boat was great, staff at tge check in was great, but tgat part is a bottleneck. Needed more staff to pull it off efficiently. I was suppose to get an email to fill out waivers before I got there, but never did. That took an extra 15 minutes. Then there was a strange way to accept or decline insurance. Very confusing.

We arrived to FWB one day after Helene and we so grateful that the entire island was spared..and also so welcoming. We weren't able to swim bc the flags so I called crabisland.com. Chris Sehman came through in a clutch. He got us on a boat that was right across the street from our hotel, checked the tide forecast, and just guided us in all the right directions. 

The boat rental itself was a seamless process and everyone was super nice. Will definitely be back and book through trips tripshock.

The whole experience was easy! I was a little nervous we’d be confused about how to get to crab island, but there were clear markers along the way. The boat was clean, worked great, and exactly what we needed for a 2 family experience. The staff explained everything clear and were very helpful with it all. Currents and wind were intense on our way back, and one of the boat dock guys saw our skipper slightly struggle to get it back to the dock, and immediately jumped in to help! Was friendly, and didn’t make us feel bad for not being able to maneuver it into the dock. Would definitely rent from them again!

I booked our pontoon the night before..  I called to let them know we were running late that morning and they assured me it was nothing to worry about. Check in was very easy once we got there so we were able to leave on time after all. The boat was clean and everything worked. We went to Crab Island for most of our time and it was beautiful. Pink Pontoons even let us use a lily pad for free because we are local!

I booked a pontoon boat rental through TripShock, which apparently acts as an agency for individual rental operators.
When the rental I had chosen fell through, TripShock proactively found an alternate operator and made all the arrangements to switch my booking.
A woman from TripShock called me to let me know what was going on and answered all my questions, and TripShock followed up with e-mails and text messages. They even told me the best place to park near the marina.
Oh, and the rental from the replacement operator turned out to be less expensive than my original booking, so I got a partial refund, too.
Before I started, I was a little wary of booking through an agency instead of contacting individual rental operators directly. But I am so glad I went to TripShock.com. Their web site is a great place to find a lot of offers, and I can't say enough good things about their customer service.

After finally getting through check-in (a few redundant and silly procedures really slow things down), we got our large group to the pier where the guys did an excellent,  and fun,  job of preparing us to take off. The boat was great (12 passenger double decker with dual slides) and easy to maneuver.  The only issue was the weather was cool,  so we ended up with a pretty short slide and swim session,  opting instead for more water exploring.  But still,  very enjoyable!

Great experience!  Booked in advance by calling the reservation telephone number.  The girl on the phone was informative and patient.  I was sent a confirmation email and text.  Upon arrival I was met at the parking lot and check-in was a breeze.  Since everything was done in advance, we got on the boat right away.  Boat was clean and ready to go.
