All my children 6 - 13 years old enjoyed digging for shark teeth, watching the dolphin and sea lions shows, and learning about the turtle rehabilitation. There was a lot of great information and the staff was friendly. We spent 5 hours here.

Family vacation
We come from NE and have a #1 Zoo. It would be nice to see more natural landscaping around the animals, reptiles, and sea animals. Expensive for 1hr tour. I did not recommend others to go. Very expensive.

So fun!
We had the best time! It was crazy hot, but the animals were so fun to watch & interact with that it was worth the time spent. Our son did the Sea Lion encounter & said it was the highlight of our trip!

Gulfarium
We enjoyed our visit to the gulfarium. We love that they are acting as more of a rescue now. Hearing the stories of the animals and seeing them in their homes was educational. It would be nice if they could have larger enclosures that were more authenticity decorated but I’m glad they have a safe place to live. We visited years ago and seeing the new sea turtle rescue area was wonderful.

We love this place and try to visit every time we’re in Destin. It’s so informative and fun! We love the “shows” and chats. Just sad we didn’t get to see the horseshoe crabs this time.
