Restrictions
- Drivers born before January 1, 1988 may operate a vessel with only their driver's license. Drivers born after January 1, 1988 are required to successfully complete an approved boater safety course in order to legally operate a vessel, according to FWC. Boater's Safety Course is for Florida residents and visitors who do not already possess a valid boating education certificate but who wish to rent a boat or PWC to operate on Florida waters. However, you must be 18 years of age or older to rent a boat or PWC. To must obtain a temporary license for a fee of $9.99 to include $3.00 for the exam and $6.99 for access to study material, you are required to follow the instructions sent in your email confirmation upon booking.
- Vessel operators are required to carry an FWC–issued Boating Safety Education Identification Card and a photo identification card while operating a motorized vessel on Florida waterways.
- In an effort to provide the most accurate information regarding all COVID-19 measures, policies, restrictions, and requirements, please reach out to the provider prior to your activity/trip date.
- Expectant mothers are not permitted to ride the jet skis.
- Maximum weight capacity of 500 lbs. per jet ski.
- Riders are not required to take a boaters test.
