Parking: Parking is available for a fee at 10 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541. 
Departure Details: Trip departs from 10 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541. We pick up just to the West of the Margaritaville Restaurant at the Harbor Walk Marina / Fuel Dock. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure for the safety briefing. Before arrival, please confirm the departure date and time at least 48 hours prior to the trip. Charters are available year-round. Departures are offered daily based on availability. Captain determines times for all trips. Please remember Kid's Trips are Catch and Release. Any issues, please contact the provider, Emerald Coast Bay Charters, at 850-685-6860. 
Gratuities: Although not required, it is customary to tip your crew 18-20%.

I took my 12-year-old niece and 11-year-old son on the guided fishing tour. Captain David provided an excellent service! He is very knowledgeable about the area, and the kids caught fish in every location he took us to.

Great kids fishing tour

Captain David was excellent with the kids!  He has the perfect bait and perfect spots. He answered ALL the kids’ questions at their level and advised them during the catch so they could do it all on their own! Kids (ages 8,10,11) all had the “best fishing trip ever”! They wanted to go again the next day, so very much worth the experience.

Kid’s Trip!

Our experience couldn’t have been better and met all of our expectations. Captain Dave was so friendly and made sure our experience was great.

Perfect experience

Our grandson's first 'real' fishing and he had a very good time. Captain Dave put him onto several nice fish and Jack was thrilled! We even spotted an osprey and a dolphin! Thank you for providing such an experience for our Jack!

No bites at all.  Not using all poles to maximize chances to catch anything.  Very disappointed kids.

Captain David was excellent. Very knowledgeable and professional. Great with the little guys as well.

Excellent!!!

Excellent. Only issue was TripShock and the directions to the boat.  Maybe include “to the right of the restaurant/bar”. Other than that the trip was excellent.   Captain was super nice.  Kids had a blast!

Next time, if he could adjust the temperature down a little by coordinating w Mother Nature. 

And, if he could spread out the fish bites a little more evenly that would be a little better. They came in bunches

While on this excursion, we unfortunately had a rude and belittling captain. Our captain, Captain David, made it very clear that we were extremely inexperienced compared to him. While this is the reason that we would hire someone to take our family fishing, there is no excuse for making fun of children and adults....ever! 
As an educator and a mother, I would never make anyone feel stupid or uncomfortable for something that they haven’t had much experience with. We will not be using this company again and I’m hoping our captain just had a bad day. 
My son did start to feel sick so we had to cut our trip short which was great since it was so unpleasant to be around our captain. In times like now, we all need to be positive and support one another and enjoy the moment. We spent a lot of money to have a nice afternoon and unfortunately, that didn’t happen at all.
