The docent was good but his memorized scrip was unfortunately making him go thru it so rapidly that I had a hard time comprehending what he was saying! Slow Down! It's not a race!!
Great experience, not a great deal

I was very happy with the my experiences at the plantations and happy to see there wasn't a great deal of people there at the time I chose to go. First thing in the morning is the time to go!

Beautiful property and fantastic, historical-but-entertaing guided tour! Highly recommended. I've been there 3 times since 1992 and it's better than ever. As a Creole style plantation, it's a very interesting alternative to the Oak Alley-style plantations.

It was very easy to purchase tickets through TripShock and had no problems entering either plantation. The plantation tours are very different so you learn new information at each plantation. Thoroughly enjoyed both Oak Alley and Laura plantations.
