Located in a 1915 schoolhouse just blocks from the beach in Gulfport, MS, Lynn Meadows Discovery Center is a special place for children and their grown-ups. Inside, 15,000 square feet of hands-on exhibits encourage fun, learning and creativity. Discover different cultures at Celebrate the World We Share, board the train at Dolan Avenue Depot, and create a mini masterpiece at our art studio, Art Knows Anything Goes. Outside, oak-covered acres provide more space to let the imagination run wild. Play "house" in the trees, tap a tune in the outdoor musical garden, and explore the tiny town of Kids Street. Lynn Meadows Discovery Center is honored to be a recipient of the National Medal for Museum and Library Services, which recognizes exceptional contributions to the community.

Once you purchase the tickets online, print off the voucher or show the confirmation details from your mobile device for entry. Please have a valid ID with you to confirm your order if needed.


Departure Details
The Discovery Center is open Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm, and Sunday noon - 5pm. From Memorial day to Labor Day the museum is open Mondays 10am - 5pm.

Admissions are valid for one day only. Guest(s) may stay as long as they like.

Public parking is available at the museum location.

Restrictions
● For the safety of our guests, we do not allow adults without children, or children without adults.
● Food and drink are not allowed in the museum, but you may bring your own lunch and picnic on our grounds.

Additional Information
● Children 0-12 months enter free.
● The museum and all exhibits are handicap accessible. Wheelchairs are available at the front desk for use during your visit on a first come first serve basis.
● Service animals are welcome at the museum.
● The museum's exhibits and educational programs are designed for children newborn through 10 years old.
● Our Bear Camp Bayou exhibit is specifically design for newborn through 4 years old.

Cancellation Policy
Once the customer buys the voucher online, they are non refundable. If you can not make the date you chose you have until the end of the calendar year to redeem it for tickets to the museum. Vouchers can be printed or shown on a mobile/smart phone to be redeemed at museum admission counter. No refunds once the voucher is purchased online.
