I went to the magic show with my 15yr old son and we were worried initially that it could be cheesy and dumb. My son also likes to debunk magic tricks so I thought that he might not like it if the magic tricks were easy to figure out. However, we ended up having a great time! Noah the magician was funny and great with lots of audience participation. I suggest sitting up front if you want to go on stage, we were in the back so we didn't get chosen to go on stage. If you want to do something fun and different then you should go!Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

The show is well worth the time for the kids. The meal was good and worth the cost. Suggest getting there early, or at least on time. The show was packed with very few seats left after the show started.Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

glad we found this. Stuck in the hotel all day b/c of rain and cold! We booked the later show on a whim and had a blast. Noah was so great and fun to watch. After the show, he signed autographs and took pictures with the kids. We plan on coming back in July and will make this part of our visit.Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

Entered this magic show with great expectations. Bringing a small child is okay but it was pretty cheesy. Maybe I'm a tough critic bc I've been to so many great illusion shows on Vegas. Go bc it's something to do but don't have high expectations.Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

Tiffany, Thank you for attending our show and leaving a review. I'm sorry that we did not meet your expectations! We try to appeal to all audiences - young and old. We did have a sold out show so we were at max capacity. However, even at max capacity, we had plenty of space for our guests. Our stage is smaller, but intimate and fun. We have to be honest, we are not a large theatrical production like what you might see in Vegas. However, we certainly pack as much excitement as we can in 60 minutes. Check back next visit as we are always evolving the show - You might even be surprised what we have next time! -Team Maximum Magic

We had the pleasure of seeing maximum magic last month on our winter break. Our party consisted of 2 adults and 2 kids (4 and 8). The show itself is very family friendly. The magician mixes it up nicely so it appeals to adults as well as kids. Our favorite illusion was the "Houdini", which he escaped from a box! My 8 year old liked "twister. There is a short intermission, which I could care less for since it's not a long show. We did not get the dinner since we had dinner plans that night, but we might try it our next visit (food smelled good!). All in all, it was well worth the $$$ and we saved by buying ahead of time. There isn't much to do in Fort Walton at night in the Winter, so it was a great way to spend the evening. Check it out!Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

The show was OK if a little cheesy at times. Noah had another performer take over the end of the show. He was pretty bad. Would not go again.Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

Hi Marilyn! Thank you for coming to the show and sharing your feedback. We really appreciate you spending your evening with us at Fudpucker's Theater. Maximum Magic is a show designed to offer something for all ages. Although some elements of the performance might appeal more for kids, there are many expert illusions that only a handful of magicians in the world can perform. The performer that took over for Noah at the end was Rick Moore, who is an accomplished magician and ring expert. We are not sure exactly what you found bad in the routine as it was executed flawlessly at a very high skill level. In any case, we certainly appreciate your comments and hope you would give us another try as the show is always evolving. Thank you again for visiting us at Maximum Magic!

We attended the 8pm show on our recent visit to Destin. Considering a lot of activities were closed due to the off-season, the magic show looked very exciting and new. This is the first magic show my wife and I went to. Check-in was easy and we got front row seats since we got their early (Tip: if you show up early, you get better seats, but if you show up WAY EARLY, there is a bar downstairs to hang out at). They were running a little behind for the second show so there was a little wait, but it wasn't too big of a deal for us although we were pretty hungry. The theater is small, but intimate. There were about 80 people in the theater and all had a good view of the stage. We got our plates and drinks right away and got our food. The buffet was not 5 star dining, but it was good enough for... read moreVerified TripShock! Traveler Review
