Restrictions
  • Covid-19 Restrictions: Masks are required by driver and guests for everyone's safety. Your temperature will be taken by the driver at the time of pick up. Temperatures must be below 100 degrees in order to participate in the tour. Vehicles are washed and sanitized daily. The driver will sanitize the van while you are taking the tour. Hand sanitizer is available on board for your convenience. Seating in van has been reduced in order to observe social distancing guidelines.
  • Electronic devices must be turned off and cell phones muted while touring exhibits.
  • Photography is permitted inside The Big House. However, the use of drones or any aerial photography is strictly prohibited.
  • There is a minimum of 5 guests needed for the tour to depart.
  • There is a maximum of 11 guests permitted per tour.
  • Service animals and pets are not permitted.
  • Tour is not handicap accessible.
Additional information
  • Vendor uses 15 passenger Ford Transit 2013 or 33 Passenger luxury tour buses that are climate-controlled and offer comfortable and pleasant touring experience, as well as protection from weather elements. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Pick-up from most hotels in Downtown New Orleans area. No pick-ups from any Airbnb, please arrange with vendor after booking your reservation.
  • Self-guided tour of the plantation except the Big House exhibit is only at specific times and can be confirmed when you arrive.
  • After the tour is over, you will have time to have lunch on-site at the Big House at your expense.
  • Strollers are allowed on the grounds and in all exhibits with the exception of the "Big House." The staff will show you where to store them during your visit inside the mansion.
  • Be ready for pick-up outside of your hotel by 9:00AM. Hotel return time will be between 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM, or after the tour is completed.
  • Travel time to and from the plantation is about 3 hours.
  • Service animals are permitted throughout the property.
  • Restrooms are available on-site at the plantation.
  • Tours run rain or shine.
