Take a guided walking (or driving) tour through the historic and culturally rich Treme neighborhood to learn about the history of Jazz and how New Orleans culture developed. Follow it up with a Soul Food or Cajun Seafood lunch and a visit to Whitney Plantation, a sugar plantation from 1750 that's been turned into a museum. This is an amazing educational experience that will give you a deeper understanding of our local culture.

Don't wear yourself out! Opt for a driving Treme tour instead of a walking tour for an additional $40. The driving tour includes historic jazz sites in the Central City neighborhood.


Booking Details:

This tour provides convenient pickup/drop off service. Please provide your location when booking. The tour provider will email a pickup time a few days before the trip, along with an itinerary and any other necessary info.

Departure Details
This tour usually picks up at 8:45am, and guests are dropped off around 5pm.

Additional Information
● Downtown transportation service can sometimes be affected by seasonal events, in which case a nearby pickup location will be set.
● Dress for the weather! Bring sunglasses, light pants/shorts, sneakers, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, or rain coat.
● Please bring cash for lunch, snacks, souvenirs, gratuities, etc.
● This is a walking tour on sometimes uneven sidewalks and streets, so please wear comfortable shoes!

Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel at least 48 hours prior to their arrival date to receive a full refund minus a $5 service fee. Customers that cancel after the 48 hour period will not be eligible for a refund. If weather is unfavorable and the vendor calls off the tour, the customer may reschedule for a later time/date or a full or partial refund will be issued (based on cancelled activities). Customer may make changes to the reservation without any fees as long as it's outside the 48 hour cancellation period.
