Parking: Paved public parking is available for free across the street from Shaggy’s Restaurant on the soundside. Once parked, use the crosswalk at 735 Pensacola Beach Blvd. or at 3 Casino Beach Boardwalk, Pensacola Beach, FL 32561 (Casino Beach @ The Beach Ball). There is NO parking on the premise. Do not park in any beach restaurant or marina parking lots, you will be towed at your own expense. If you are not staying on the beach, be prepared for heavy bridge traffic.
Departure Details: This tour departs from 701 Pensacola Beach Blvd, Pensacola Beach, FL 32561, behind Shaggy’s Restaurant. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure and check-in at the dock behind Shaggy’s Restaurant with the Mermaid Crew at boarding. Frisky Mermaid may be on a tour when you arrive. Please have a seat at the picnic tables and enjoy the view. Boat departs on time. If you are late, you will miss the boat. There are no refunds for late arrivals so give yourself enough time to get to the location and park. For any issues, please contact your provider, Frisky Mermaid Dolphin Tours &amp; Boat Rentals, at 850-910-0635.

Great experience

We were excited for this dolphin cruise, but unfortunately it wasn’t the experience we expected. The boat felt overcrowded, and I think there should be a limit on the number of passengers. By the time we boarded, there were no seats left for us, so we ended up sitting in an area marked “Crew Only.” It just felt like there were too many people on board to comfortably accommodate everyone. The crew member leading the tour was very energetic, but we personally would have preferred a calmer, more attentive experience. The ride also felt longer than expected, and by the end we were both anxious to get off the boat, which is unusual for us because we normally enjoy being out on the water. Overall, we think limiting the number of passengers would make for a much more enjoyable experience.

We want to address the passenger capacity concern directly - the U.S. Coast Guard strictly regulates, certifies, and determines the maximum number of passengers permitted on every vessel by federal law. As a USCG-certified vessel, we are legally required to follow these federal safety standards and never exceed them - this is never at the discretion of the boat owner or operator.

We do also offer smaller, more intimate dolphin cruise experiences on other vessels for guests who prefer a more personal Gulf Coast adventure! Sounds like a semi-private experience was more of what you were looking for and we’d love the opportunity to show you the true FINTASTIC Frisky Mermaid experience!

Overcrowded and not very relaxing

I took my three nephews, 6,10,16 and had a blast.  
Samantha was our guide with microphone and she truly made the ride the best experience.  
   She greeted us with large smile and welcoming personality and it never changed during and after tour.  She taught us interesting facts about dolphins and their babies and pods and just cool knowledge that made the tour even better.  
I highly recommend this tour !!!!

We had a really good experience. We ended up being on the boat a little longer to make sure we found the dolphins and our kids loved every second of it. My partner got a bit overheated from the beach all day and then the boat ride and passed out and the crew was extremely helpful. Helped me right away got our kids away so they couldn’t see and got us some water and handled the situations like pros. Couldn’t be more thankful. After we hung out for a bit to make sure he was ok and they gave great recommendations on food places and things to do in the area. Would highly recommend.

I love being able to see the dolphins. This was my 3rd time seeing them in person. But I love watching them.

We had a wonderful Dolphin Tour.  The company was so fantastic.  I needed to change the number of people last minute, and they worked with me to upgrade to a bigger boat.  The captain was helpful and catered our tour to what we wanted.  We would travel with them again no question.  We saw so many dolphins and even a baby dolphin! Highly recommend.

We had a lot of fun and got to see dolphins and sting rays

It's great

We had an amazing time on our 3 hour boat ride. Paul was there waiting for us to arrive and was a great host throughout the trip. We were able to see differernt landmarks, dolphins, sting rays and jellyfish, which was amazing.  We were pleased with the drinks included but we did bring additional snacks and drinks in our own cooler. This was our first trip to Pensacola but we are planning another trip soon and will bring more friends to experience this boat ride. Only negative, the beach was not the best, seaweed and jelly fish were too much.
