Departure Details: Experience departs from the Sea Thunder ticket booth at 1522 Watson Avenue, Little River, SC 29566. Follow dolphin signs to the check-in office. Any issues, please call your provider, Sea Thunder Dolphin Cruise at 843-280-8400. 
Directions from Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach: Take Highway 17 North through North Myrtle Beach. Go over the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge, staying on Hwy 17 North towards Wilmington. Proceed 3 miles and turn right onto Mineola Avenue. From Mineola Avenue, turn right onto Watson Avenue (If you pass Pirate’s Treasure Giftshop, you’ve gone too far on Mineola).  Square Grouper Marina will be on the left side of Watson Avenue.  After parking, look for the Myrtle Beach Watersports sign for check-in and boarding passes. 
Faster access from Myrtle Beach: Take Highway 31 North, exiting at Highway 9 South. Proceed on Hwy 9 South and take the exit toward Wilmington/Little River. Turn left at the traffic light onto Hwy 90 East.
Go approximately 1 mile and bear right onto Hwy 17 North. Go 2 miles and turn right onto Mineola Avenue. From Mineola Avenue, turn right onto Watson Avenue (If you pass Pirate’s Treasure Giftshop, you’ve gone too far on Mineola). Square Grouper Marina will be on the left side of Watson Avenue. After parking, look for the Myrtle Beach Watersports sign for check-in and boarding passes.

We had a great day on the dolphin tour-even though we didn’t see any dolphins!  The crew was very friendly and helpful-careful about our safety and gave us clear preparation for a very wet ride. The seas were rough and we had a roller coaster ride out to the ocean and back and enjoyed it all. Next time-and there will be a next time because if you don’t see any dolphins they send you free tickets-we’ll bring towels in water- proof bags and wear bathing suits.

What an adventure!

We had a wonderful time on the Sea Thunder.  Our tour guide was informative and funny. We were able to bring our own cooler with refreshments and snacks though we could have bought for very minimal their refreshments. We were able to see dolphins and more dolphins. We also saw many other species like birds including pelicans. We bought a picture that was wonderfully taken and mounted on a beautiful wood plaque. We will definitely come back with family on our return to SC.

The experience was amazing. Both Captain Kenny and Katie were awesome! Music was playing, air guitars and singing! The entire crew was so friendly and spirited. We saw so many dolphins! It was such a memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Wonderful adventure

My husband and I took the Dolphin Cruise.  It was fantastic!  Both Captains were so accommodating, Informative and very very nice.  She checked on us twice during the cruise.  We had a great time and enjoyed seeing the dolphins.   WARNING..do not sit in the front of the ship if you don't want to get very wet! LOL.  We were warned, but it was fun.  Can't wait to do it again!  This cruise is a must do!

Great time, all ages from seniors to kids aboard.  Forest and Chip were  wonderful they talked about local area history, wildlife and inter coastal/ ocean life.  Forest and Chip had fantastic personalities working with everyone.  If you’re thinking about a dolphin or sunset tour this is the place to go.  All 10’s rating

Once we got out into the ocean there were so many dolphins great experience for myself and children. They even have food on the boat affordable!!

We had a wonderful experience and we went on the Dolphin cruise in June 2024.  We were lost and we called them about address confirmation of where the boat tour was departing from.  They were professional, courteous and understanding of our situation.  They waited for us, despite us running behind schedule.  During the cruise I experienced motion sickness, during the return trip to harbor, and they were very helpful in attending to my situation in a caring, professional and courteous manner.  I can’t praise them enough for their incredible dedication to providing an incredible customer experience on their cruise.  This cruise gets my highest recommendation and I recommend others to book their cruise through this company.

Taking the 5;30 cruise was a bonus we saw dolphins and had a beautiful sunset and very peaceful ride back along the river back to the dock . The captain and crew were very helpful and pleasant and made the trip very enjoyable!

The cruise was great except no Dolphins spotted. It's great to have a voucher to come again however I believe food vouchers would be a better option for out of town guests. Unfortunately for us we were leaving the next morning and not sure when we would return to South Carolina.

Twelve of us went on the boat and enjoyed it so much! The boat ride was slow and steady. We liked the upper deck view while driving to the dolphins. That was a fun bonus! Great experience. Best part of the trip!

I took my wife for a surprise 20th anniversary dinner cruise. It was absolutely fantastic. She loved it. Although there were a number of folks on the cruise as well, it was quite romantic. We had our own table by a window. The food was delicious and plentiful. The entertainer/host was amazing and talented. She even took a request for our wedding song. The rest of the staff were very courteous and accommodating. The bartender receptive to drink requests and quite jovial. We would absolutely do it again. Thank you all so much!!
