Parking: Parking is available on-site. 
Departure Details: Experience departs from the Sea Thunder ticket booth at 1522 Watson Avenue, Little River, SC 29566. Follow dolphin signs to the check-in office. Please arrive at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before departure. Trip departs on time. For any issues, please contact your provider, Sea Thunder Dolphin Cruise, at 843-280-8400. 
Directions from Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach: Take Highway 17 North through North Myrtle Beach. Go over the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge, staying on Hwy 17 North towards Wilmington. Proceed 3 miles and turn right onto Mineola Avenue. From Mineola Avenue, turn right onto Watson Avenue (If you pass Pirate’s Treasure Giftshop, you’ve gone too far on Mineola).  Square Grouper Marina will be on the left side of Watson Avenue.  After parking, look for the Myrtle Beach Watersports sign for check-in and boarding passes. 
Faster access from Myrtle Beach: Take Highway 31 North, exiting at Highway 9 South. Proceed on Hwy 9 South and take the exit toward Wilmington/Little River. Turn left at the traffic light onto Hwy 90 East.
Go approximately 1 mile and bear right onto Hwy 17 North. Go 2 miles and turn right onto Mineola Avenue. From Mineola Avenue, turn right onto Watson Avenue (If you pass Pirate’s Treasure Giftshop, you’ve gone too far on Mineola). Square Grouper Marina will be on the left side of Watson Avenue. After parking, look for the Myrtle Beach Watersports sign for check-in and boarding passes.

We had a fun and enjoyable experience on the dolphin cruise. We only saw one dolphin but it was great we were able to see one. The crew was great and knowledgeable about the different landmarks and he area. The boat is beautiful. Overall highly recommend.

We were so lucky and seen so many dolphins. The guys in charge were great and made the excursion so much fun!!

Worth It !!

We recently went on a dolphin tour and had an absolutely fantastic experience thanks to our boatman, Jacob. From the moment we stepped on the boat, he was outstanding. He handled everything with confidence and professionalism—untied the boat smoothly, kept a sharp lookout for dolphins, and made sure everyone on board was having a great time.

Jacob was incredibly entertaining, helpful, and courteous throughout the entire tour. He had a natural presence on the water and handled the boat with the kind of comfort and awareness that made it clear he truly belongs out there. At times it honestly felt like he was one with the water and one with the boat—completely in his element.

What impressed us even more was hearing about his aspirations to become a captain one day. Based on what we saw, we have no doubt that he will excel in that role. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for the job make him someone with a very bright future ahead. If every tour had someone like Jacob running things, it would be hard for anyone to have a bad experience.

He made the entire trip memorable, and we left with nothing but outstanding enthusiasm for his future career as a captain.

Also, Captain Mary was okay.

We had a great time! Music was fun! We got a little wet to cool off! We not only saw dolphins but got to hold stingless jellyfish and even saw a deer swim across the canal! This was our second year doing this. Definitely recommend!

Lots of fun!

Our captain was Patrick & our co-captain was Katie. They were both very attentive & involved with the passengers on our trip out. We saw some sweet dolphins and they stopped the boat to allow us all ample time to get to see them come out of the water. 
Every so often they would both check the boat to be sure all passengers were feeling ok and enjoying the ride. It was a pleasure to take this tour with them. My kids are aged 7, 9, 11 & 14-it was their first time on a boat and they all loved it. Thank you both for a great time, we will for sure be back! Amazing Trip!!

This was a amazing experience. It like like the Fast and furious meets  the water. It was fun and refreshing. The Captain Ben was very informative on the tour and taught me things I no clue about. Very educational. His shipmate Clara was so sweet and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this for those who like to do donuts and like speed and want to cool off.

Our kids found a brochure for a pirate cruise while at breakfast. That one was sold out so we did a Google search and found the Children’s Pirate Adventure in Murrel’s Inlet. So glad! My husband and I were aboard but enjoyed nearly an hour break while our kids (ages 8,6, and 4) were completely enchanted by Pirate Chipper and the captain. Highly recommend and we will be back next time we’re in Myrtle!
