Directions: Coming from the East: As guests are heading westbound on US Hwy 98 (AKA Harbor Blvd), keep an eye out for AJ's Seafood Restaurant - it will be on the left. About 100 feet after AJ's, guests will see the sign for Olin Marler's Charters and a small brick building named Fat Boys. Make a left turn after the Fat Boys and continue over the hill that takes guests to the Harbor. 
Coming from the West: As guests are heading eastbound on US Hwy 98 (AKA Harbor Blvd), cross over the Destin Bridge and stay in the right lane. Guests will make a right turn about 100 yards after guests cross the bridge. It is easy to miss because of trees that block the sign. If guests pass AJ's Seafood Restaurant, guests have gone too far.
Parking: Public parking is available at 102 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541 (Next to AJ's Bar and Grill) for $10-20 per car (special event parking prices may vary). As guests pull off highway 98, head over the hill down to the Harbor. Customers may park on the hill or just over it. Special event parking prices may vary. 
Departure Details: Boat departs from the Olin Marler's Dock at 102 Harbor Boulevard, Destin, FL 32541. Morning trips typically depart between 6:00AM-8:00AM and afternoon trips depart 1:00PM-3:00PM. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure to check in. Charter departs on time. For any issues, please contact provider, Olin Marler's Dolphin Cruises &amp; Fishing Charters, at 850-837-7095.
Gratuities: Although not required, it is appreciated and encouraged to tip the tour guide.

Grundfos Catches Fish

The trip was great. The boat, Tropical Winds from the Olin Marler fleet was clean, well provisioned, and the Captain knew what he was doing. There were 11 guests and we all, except for the two kids, caught their limit. The weather was perf ct. a great day!

One day f the best fishing trips!

We had a great day aboard the Gulf Breeze! We had a dolphin chasing the boat playing in the wake  so cute!! Caught lots of fish and were grateful for the help of the crew. Can’t wait to do it again next year!!

Fishing FUN!

I was a little surprised they took us out with the weather being so rough. The trip was not enjoyable at all. It was rough and the people fishing were doing their.best to stand up and not fall off the boat and everyone was soaked from the rain. The crew was awesome and doing their best to help everyone. If the weather wasn’t going to make you sick the guests smoking cigarettes and it filtering into the cabin and the crew smoking a weed pen will do the trick. They put you on the fish but that didn’t matter when the rest of the trip was so bad.

We appreciate your feedback and are sorry the conditions that day were not enjoyable for you. The forecast was calling for 1–2 foot seas, but conditions offshore can change quickly and become rougher once you are out there. If the captain felt conditions were unsafe, we would have returned to shore immediately.
We’re glad to hear the crew worked hard and put customers on fish. Customers are allowed to smoke onboard, although we do ask they stay toward the back of the boat to keep smoke downwind. As for the crew, all employees are regularly drug tested, and we take those standards very seriously.
Unfortunately, offshore fishing does not always happen on calm, sunny days, but safety is always our top priority.

This was a great time

We did the morning 6 hour trip with a group of 5 adults and loved the experience. The boat ride was so pretty and the crew was fantastic. The captain made sure after a slow start that we started really catching fish at the end. Our crew Landon and Gary made sure we were well equipped and knew what to do. I would absolutely do this trip again and highly recommend!

I was recommended the swoop party boat from my sister who has been on several different deep sea trips. She said this one was the best and let me tell you that they did NOT disappoint! My son is an avid (freshwater) fisher. He is now convinced that saltwater fishing is the best thing ever lol. The crew is amazing! Very friendly, helpful, and the banter between themselves makes the environment an all around good experience! I (an amateur fisher) even managed to catch some which for me is quite a feat lol. Family of 5, with 3 kids- 7, 9, 11.  An hour boat ride to our fishing destination.  Rods were too heavy for my youngest to handle.  Rocky boat perhaps it was bad day. Caught some fish but weren’t big enough. Captain went to several locations.  Caught a total 4 fish. Staff member smoked cigarettes. Perhaps morning session would be better on a calmer day. Need to pay small fee for filleting and cleaning fish. They strongly ask you to tip. Would not recommend for kids younger than 12.  Quite disappointing as I thought Destin was known for the fishing village.

First time deep sea fishing

The captain and crew made sure everyone and everything was taken care of and completely ready to catch fish! I went because my son loves to fish well I needed up loving it and I think enjoying the trip more than him! Will be back to see the Sweet Jody crew again!

Fishing trip

Best fishing trip ever.
We were punctually greeted by Captain Robert upon arrival to the marina, and he promptly helped us onto his clean, comfortable and well equipped boat.
We were given a brief and informative safety orientation, and were seated in a comfortable loveseat right in front of the console.
Captain Robert then proceeded to exit the marina and safely took us out a few miles to the first of half a dozen or so fishing spots..
We were able to catch our limit of red snapper in just 30 minutes or so!
We then went to the other spots and were usually catching and releasing most of the fish but were catching them nonstop most of the time. Captain Robert was close by to unhook and release our fish and rebait our hooks as needed, all the while explaining the types of fish and whether or not we could keep them.
We definitely got our fill of fishing for the day and learned a lot from Captain Robert, plus when we got back to the marina, he fillet’s our fish and ziplock bagged them for us!
You couldn’t ask for a better time than we had, and we’ll definitely look you guys up for our next fishing adventure..
