The cruise was a nice way to see a different view of the city. If we went again, we would probably opt for the day cruise. The dinner was not good. It was a buffet, and we were very rushed to eat. With all of the wonderful food in New Orleans, I would choose a different place to eat.Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

The steamboat ride was a pleasure. The staff on board were great. However, we signed up for the dinner also which was nothing special. The sides were boring in taste as well as the beef and pork loin. The desserts were extremely sweet. We have the impressi8the meals are outsourced at a kitchen and transported to the boat , then kept warm for many hours leaving the meal a disaster. The boatride with accompanying jazz band is enjoyable just skip the dinner.Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

I'd recommend folks take advantage of fine New Orleans restaurants ahead of or after the cruise. The dinner on board is a buffet, it was lukewarm and tolerable at best. We did the first seating which means we ate while the boat was still docked and let us walk around while the cruise was occurring. Definitely head down to the engine room to see the inner workings of the ship! The event was well run, smooth logistics from beginning to end. The music was very very good.Verified TripShock! Dinner wasn't worth it. Eat first! Music played in one location with minimal seating and didn't play long so don't go for the music. There wasn't a lot of historical information shared throughout the tour just up one side of the river and down. Staff was couteous but didn't go out of their way to make it fun.Verified TripShock! The river cruise was very relaving, good music and very knowledgeable. The photographer, that took pictures before boarding was very pushy and extremely rude. He passed comments to me that should of caused his dismissal from the job on the cruise.Verified TripShock! Traveler Review
