Parking: Free parking is available off-site at 513 Harbor Blvd, Destin, Florida 32541 about 200' from departure location. Two vehicles are allowed per boat rental.
Departure Details: This rental departs from 500 Harbor Blvd, Destin, FL 32541 which is located on the South side of US Hwy 98 on Destin Harbor across from Taco Bell at 500 Harbor Blvd. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before departure. For any issues, please contact your provider, Sunshine Watersports, at 850-837-2299.
Boater’s License: A Temporary Florida Boater’s License is recommended and may be required for your activity! All drivers born on or after January 1, 1988, MUST obtain a license. Adults born BEFORE January 1, 1988, may operate a boat or personal watercraft without a Florida Boater License, so long as they have a valid driver’s license. However, in the interest of safety, we recommend that all drivers take the test and familiarize themselves with important boat safety rules. Gratuities: Although not required, it is always appreciated and encouraged to tip.

We loved having our own boat and it’s a beautiful area, Crab Island is great! The problem was that we weren’t allowed to park in the parking lot but had to move our vehicle across the street when there was at least 10-15 open spots. They said a tour was coming. Then when we got our boat, it was nothing like was advertised on line. It was an old, beat-up, rusty boat. The stereo system didn’t work, they gave us a portable speaker, nothing like what is shown on their website. We had a good day but don’t expect a new or nice boat, like everyone on their website. Also be prepared to park across a very busy street because a paying customer isn’t as valuable as a tour group.

The guy at the front desk was rude we had to park away  from the parking lot and it look like we the only ones that had to everyone else that got off other boats was in company parking lot and down the road across the street  I do t understand but the guy who walk  us to the boat was nice the guy at the front don’t need to interact with customer need to work on his customer service skills .

This was my 1st time going to crab island as well as four others with me. I was the driver and wasn’t sure I would be able to do it. However, the young man that assisted me at the dock was patient and made sure I knew what I was doing. We had soo much fun and the weather was perfect. Excited to do this again next year for a longer time. 

I will recommend them to get a bigger sign. I got a little anxious beca Of being unsure and not able to see where to go. Also, post a no emergency number for first time guests and maybe second time. I got a little turned around on the water but we were able to make it back on time.

Other than that, we had the best time ever. That’s again Sunshine Pontoon Rentals

4hr trip.   Parking sucked but Checkin was great.  Credited us whatever time it took for us to park off site..  Customer Srvc was great.  Boat in so so shape.  Outboard alarmed at us twice but was fine.  Wished for a bit more hp.  Rented from them previously amd would do it again.

Only 2 of our 6 total guests made it for this adventure due to uncontrollable circumstances. Nonetheless, we had a great time! As it was my first time ever being on or near the gulf coast and seeing the white sands and clear blue water. My sister being the other guest that made it. It was nice to share the experience. 
Our captain was friendly and knowledgeable, despite the suprise of just 2 guests attending, he had some funny jokes and kept us entertained the whole time. 
Our only downside is that our guests didn't come along, otherwise I will totally recommend this charter/website to others heading to the area.
