Parking: There is metered parking as well as a parking garage.
Departure Details: We are located under the John’s Pass boardwalk at 140 Boardwalk Place W., Madeira Beach FL 33708. Guests must check-in at the Pirate Ship gift shop to receive a boarding pass at least 30 minutes prior to cruise time. The gift shop is located under the boardwalk, along the waterfront. Look for our signs and flags by the street.
Gratuities: Although not required, it is customary to tip your tour guide 20%.

I loved seeing the dolphins! The tour guides Captain Jim and Mike were very entertaining and informative. We saw at least 10 of the 30 Atlantic Bottlenosed dolphins. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Very well organized the 3 staff members were excellent did a fantastic job. We went in Saturday night 9/10 was rescheduled from Friday night 9/9 because of rain well it rained all day on Saturday but we still got to go out at 6:45. No sunset but we did see a number of dolphins they were amazing and got to see a few celebrities homes. 
We had a great time! 
The staff kept I. Contact with us throughout both days in regards to the weather. Which I appreciated very much!

Smooth ride in

The Hubbard team were very thoughtful and helpful. The trip on the boat was relaxing. Shell Island has a small sand beach surrounding it which is not crowded at all. The water is crystal clear and a nice warm/cool temperature. We found some nice shells but you will need to swim at least 6 feet out and snorkle dive to reach them. Truly enjoyed the entire trip. Highly recommend. :)

We had a very relaxing, nice time on the cruise. The captain and his mate were awesome . However, next time I will book in the winter months due to the evening rains. Unfortunately there was no wind at all and the sunset kind of sucked that evening! All out of the crew's control, of course! I'll definitely go again!

Sunset cruise

The sunset cruise was nothing less that extraordinary!  It was fun watching the captains control the sails and work as a team. They were attentive, without being over-the-top. They interacted with the guests, took pictures and answered questions. But they also gave the guests time to have their own intimate experience. There was ample time to watch the sunset and the cruise back to the marina was almost as spectacular as the ride to the gulf. The sun had set, the colors in the sky were amazing, and sailing by million dollar mansions was the cherry on top. I one-hundred percent recommend this experience.

We spent 2½ very relaxing hours on the water with easy tropical music. The other passengers nearby were very pleasant amd fun to talk to. 

We only saw 3 or 4 dolphins,  but that was okay.  Midday is not the best time to see them. 

By no means would I have wanted the captain to talk constantly, but a little information now and then about different places on the shore would have been interesting. 

All on all, a nice ship,  a lovely day cruise.
