First stop - the beautiful Manchac Swamp where you'll enjoy a tour of our privately owned swamp. This swamp is occupied only by Cajun Pride boats which means fewer distractions during your tour and an impressive amount of alligator and other wildlife found in this eco-system. Our boat is covered and comfortable with opening viewing and the ability to stand and walk around which allows for more photo opportunities and full viewing of the beauty and excitement of the swamp.

Next stop - we'll bring you to the plantation of your choice: Laura or Oak Alley Plantation:
Laura: A Creole Plantation was built in 1805. Let the “Memoirs of Laura” transport you into the lives of 4 generations of this plantation’s Creole men, women, slaves and children. The fully guided experience includes the Big House, gardens and the original 1840s slave cabins in which the West-African folktales of Compair Lapin (later known as Br'er Rabbit) were recorded over 140 years ago.

Oak Alley Plantation was built in 1837-39. It is famous for its alley of 28 evenly spaced Live Oak trees, believed to be at least 100 years older than the big house. Perhaps the most photographed plantation ever, Oak Alley has been the setting for such motion pictures as "Interview with a Vampire", "Primary Colors" and the wedding of Bo and Hope from the daytime soap opera, "Days of our Lives".

    Wonderful Value

This was well worth the money spent. The friendly bus driver picked us up from our hotel promptly when we were told he would, and delivered us safely to our destination, and then back to the hotel. Loved not having to worry about transportation in addition to activity. Swamp tour was great and educational. We picked Oak Alley Plantation which was absolutely breathtaking. My only complaint of the entire experience is that the Oak Alley tour was a bit over crowded to be as enjoyable, and very short. Would have loved to have seen more of the inside of the house. Had plenty of time after to explore the outside grounds, which was beautiful. Would definitely book with them again!

    A Quality Experience!

I loved this tour. The Swamp Tour was the best one I've been on - you could tell that Captain Danny loved his job and the swamp. And our Oak Alley Plantation tour was beautiful. Our van driver was very knowledgeable about the other plantations on the route and was pleased to share them with us. I feel that we got more than we expected because of this.

    Swamp plantation tour

My daughter and I loved the swamp tour. We saw alligators, water turtles and all sorts of wildlife. Our guide was wonderful, and he spoke English and French . He was very knowledgeable and informative regarding the plant life and wildlife. Holding the baby gator was a highlight of the day. The Oakley plantation was breathtakingly beautiful. I greatly appreciated our bus tour guide Cesar. He offered and abundance of information regarding the plantations and the state of Louisiana. His guidance gave the trip a personal touch and took it to another level of enjoyment.

Brandon was our Captain. He brought along his pets and they were awesome! His interactions with us were great, he got everyone involved. The denizens of your swamp were abundant and our captain was well informed about them and answered any & all questions. Would highly reccomend

    Very enjoyable and interesting tours

The bus ride out was very interesting. The driver shared little tidbits all along the way and it made the ride enjoyable. The swamp tour was interesting. We saw a lot of alligators, raccoons and turtles. The guide was interesting and funny. He had great stories. Enjoyed the tour very much. The plantation tour was fascinating. Our tour guide kept it very interesting. Lots of interesting details. Our ride back was not as enjoyable but part of the reason was due to traffic. The driver was not as informative but he got us back safely even though he had to take a less traveled route. The tour took the entire day (as the site advised) and it is a lot of riding in a tour bus but it was worth it.

    Swamp and Plantation Tour

We had a fabulous day at the swamp and the Laura Plantation. Both guides were wonderful and had an amazing wealth of knowledge. So much information. The shuttle driver was also excellent and it felt like a bonus tour with her. As she drove us there she was able to point out many interesting facts. Although Oak Alley looked beautiful, so glad we chose Laura as it was so interesting with a lot of original buildings still there. Seems like we got the better deal after comparing notes with the other people after our pick up.
