An Enjoyable Day

Started our Sunday off with a late 'get up and go' but had enough time to see most of the museum. We had concerns that our 8 year old grandson interest would only be held for a short time but reality he was very interested in most of the exhibits. It has been 5 years since our last visit and extremely pleased that the museum is continually adding more exhibits and maintains the public interest. Highly recommend to everyone except children probably under 8. You need a minimum of 4 hours to read and enjoy most of the exhibits.

I loved it. The + : The museum is clean, not too big, well organized, full of information and interactive. They give you a card that contains a soldier's information and you can keep track of them along the way. There is always somebody available to guide you. The decor is wonderful, with visual and audio animations. You can see authentic weapons, tanks, a plane, nazi uniforms, documentaries, a lovely house from the 40s (lovely) AND veterans are available to chat with you too !! The - : you need to purchase a general admission
