Restrictions
  • COVID-19 Restrictions: Tickets are limited, so guests are requested to have an online ticket to enter at a designated time period. Walk-in admission is available upon a space available basis only and not guaranteed. Broward County mandates that masks be worn in public at all times indoors and outdoors when within 6' of others.
  • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Closed early at 4pm on Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.
  • Food and beverages cannot be brought into the park.
Additional information
  • Flamingo Gardens Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary gives residence to permanently injured and non-releasable birds and animals, and is home to the largest collection of Florida native wildlife - including alligators, bear, bobcats, eagles, otters, panthers, peacocks, and flamingos.
  • For visitors that don't have automobile transportation, there are a variety of cab companies and shuttles that go to Flamingo Gardens regularly.
  • The park is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. (Hours may vary and are subject to change). No one will be able to enter the park after 4:00 pm.
  • Spend an hour or spend the day. It's recommended to give yourself at least three hours for your visit.
  • Food and drinks are available inside at the Flamingo Gardens Cafe or the Flamingo Gardens Food Truck.
  • Restrooms are available throughout the gardens.
  • Only certified service dogs are permitted.
  • Free parking is available on-site.
  • Gardens are handicap friendly.
  • Tour guides are not provided.
