Miramar Beach-Sandestin Area Banana Boat Rides

Most banana boat rides will take you out into the beautiful, crystal-clear, emerald, Gulf of Mexico waters. Please be sure to review the restrictions prior to booking, however, as this can vary depending on multiple factors like the tour company you choose.

This activity is for ages 5 and up only. Customers must be 18 to book.

There will either be a minimum of 2 or 4 guests to depart, with a maximum of 6 passengers. The minimum weight required to participate is 50 pounds per person, and the maximum weight limit per banana boat ride will usually be around 450 pounds, depending on the tour company.

Banana boat rides are not handicap accessible, and due to the nature of this activity, those with mobility difficulties are unable to participate. Those with back, knee, or neck problems should not participate. If you are unsure if this activity is for you, it is recommended to check with your physician before booking.

Absolutely, each banana boat ride comes equipped with a certified captain and experienced crew, so you’re in excellent hands! All safety equipment, like life jackets, for example, are included. The crew will be sure to give instructions prior to departure, as well, as safety is top priority!
